Say Bonjour to blue toile, AKA your new favorite tableware pattern. Toile details are classic for any dinner party, but we especially adore it for a Thanksgiving feast because it’s bold and unique.
Blue isn’t typically included in the fall holidays, but if you pair it with the right details it blends beautifully into the autumn scene. Just be sure to incorporate pumpkin finishes, gold candle holders, and fall leaves into your tablescape as well.
The best part of this holiday party theme? The fun and simple DIY Thanksgiving decor! We wanted to bring more of that lovely blue color onto our fall table, so we grabbed some party supplies and got a little crafty.
We made these blue toile and plaid pumpkins using acrylic paint, mod podge, and our blue toile napkins! We used foam pumpkins for this craft and lots of dusty blue and white paint. To paper mâche the toile pattern on, we pulled back the paper layer of the toile napkins and adhered the front to the surface of the pumpkin with mod podge.
These add such a unique twist on traditional decor, and make the perfect Thanksgiving centerpiece. Simply layer a few in different sizes, or pair them with a bouquet of fall florals.
Another easy Thanksgiving table decoration - well presented food! Whether it’s pumpkin pie or frosted sugar cookies, there’s nothing better than a heavenly dessert after a big meal. So keep those mouths watering by teasing all the tasty treats on a cute cake stand.
But seriously, you put all this work into cooking Thanksgiving dinner, so it deserves to be shown off! Thankfully, we have all sorts of festive dinnerware to serve as a stage for your delicious delicacies. Just imagine how heavenly your pie will look in this adorable pie dish!
We went with white or blue glassware to complement our color scheme, but feel free to incorporate other tones. The more mix-matched and eclectic, the better!

We still can’t get over how striking blue and orange look together, so for the rest of this set-up we used matching blue toile party cups, napkins, and cutlery. Then we tied it all together with an orange charger and these adorable pumpkin place mats. As for other details, we displayed white stone bakeware and fall themed textiles.
